If other people are around and you have to play it fairly cool ... trying to think ... maybe do something funny/silly like playing reverse-rules Uno, and you have to say everything backwards. When it degenerates into giggles/chaos ask for a rematch sometime, at an undetermined date, or propose settling it with a pinkie war. Or an arm-wrestle which you purposely lose.

Or play normal Uno but make a bet, the loser has to cook a dinner of the winner's choice. Like find the groceries and learn how to cook it. If you get the dinner date have fun with it by dressing up as either a chef or a restaurant guest in a tux, light candles, chilled wine, and the whole deal.

If you're actually alone, some guys swear by "the question game" which can be mild or wild (preferably both) but it's supposed to be a guaranteed icebreaker. The rules are that the answers should be honest and no repeat questions i.e. asking the same question back. The principles of PUA require that even the mild questions should involve something emotional like your favorite childhood memory, best restaurant meal ever, first kiss, worst date, etc.
