So this foreign exchange girl (I’m in highschool) and I met and we seem to be interested in one another and we hang out at lunch pretty much everyday etc, she laughs at my jokes, compliments me and seems overall interested in me. She kinda even asked if I liked anyone.

But this weekend, she went to the grand canyon and other places like Zion park in Utah and hasn’t replied to my text in over a day. I’m starting to wonder if she received it but I don’t want to seem desperate in asking. Anyone been in a situation similar to this?

PS: She views my stories and snap streaks (after hours which is fine bc she isn’t very active rn)
