Been gaming for around 3 years now. Once I'm warmed up (usually takes 2-4 sets), I'm okay. I'm loose, have low AA, more present, less in my head, more confident. But because I'm naturally more on the introverted side, when I'm not warmed up I'm in my head, I can't seem to listen and respond properly, run out of things to say, not confident, etc.
Knowing this, it's hard to approach women as I go about my day. That first approach of the day is hard and it feelings pointless because I know it likely won't go well and will be difficult. And so, often times I'll see that first potential approach, be completely cold, not approach, and then start kicking myself in the butt, and then it's a downward negativity spiral from there lol. It seems like in order for me to approach, I have to designate a 1-2 hour day game session, in order to have enough time to get warmed up.
My guess is I just have to "eat the frog", as they say, and do the hard thing for the first approach. But wondering if anyone has any tips on all of this. I find that if I don't approach consistently, it's hard to stay warmed up.
