Do you believe this?
I was reading some old thread and one poster was like ''People fear game because it gives you the power to bang any girl you want, even if she's out of your league'' kind of thing
Then someone linked some infields and the discussion became how the dude in the infield was just being normal. Like, if you showed the infield to a guy whose never heard of pickup, he'd wonder why on earth people were paying this dude to teach them to say 'hi' and to ask her her name and what she does and then pay her a compliment etc. Like This would seem painfully obvious to him
Like, most peoples 'game' is just make some converation, and show some intent. If she's into you, good. If not, you take the rejection and move on
I guess if you look at old school game you could define 'game' as using negs and telling girls a DHV story about the time you killed a bear or whatever, but that style of 'game' seems to be largely ridiculed now and i'm not sure what we're left with
It seems people see 'game' as basically not being weird/autistic etc, able to hold a conversation for a little bit, show some intent, and then, if she's into your looks, you just escalate to sex. If she's not into your looks, you never stood a shot anyway!
How do you guys define 'game' in terms of ACTIONABLE stuff?
Stuff that you know that other people who have never heard of game DON'T know! Stuff that gives you an 'edge' over them guys. Stuff that you know that can MAKE a girl (who maybe thinks you're ugly) sexually attracted to you
I'm trying to work out where we stand in terms of 'belief' in game. I notice that 90% of PUA forums have disappeared in recent years and wonder whether the new attitudes towards pickup explains why
