In my opinion bro since you’re in college and what not you should be straightforward and ask her out,( dont wanna waste time on one girl) since you are acquainted with each other its gonna put less pressure on the whole thing but make sure you know what you want whether you truly wanna get it over with it and ask her out or play the long game.

when you are both eating lunch just the 2 of you try to invite to her out to do something with you. And try to study her and see how she take it.

Imho lunch is even a bit to informal, your just sitting there and eating... not very attractive. Be confident about your intentions. If you talk the next time to her, say that its a bummer youre only having quick talks. make a slight compliment (you seem sympathetic) . And say to her she should JOIN you for a drink after work/school. Not if she wants to grab drinks with you, say you would appreciate if she would JOIN you.

That way its not really asking her out but just a suggestion she will likely accept if shes interested. If not you don't lose anything - remember you didn't ask her, just made a suggestion.

Go for it. No time to waste ;)
