Hey fellas. First, this is not the typical, help me get laid, type of scenario. I'm 37, never married, no kids, and I am ready for a family. I'm even ready for a step kid.

Her: Tyler! Definitely a camper. Are you a glamper!?

Me: Lol no. If I was, I wouldn't call it glamping. That's what us campers use to poke fun at those silly city slickers ;) Ever been hiking in (my city)?

Her: ...crickets...

Me: (about 24 hours later) Heyyy Sarah happy rainy Monday! I know you're busy being a single mom and fighting off the one hundred men that wanna chat with you. I'm going to get lost in the shuffle on this app! I'd love to learn more about you. If you're curious about me, text me. (digits).

Her: Hey Tyler! I love hiking in (my city)! and would love to learn more about you too :) I'm on a plane heading out to dc for the week right now, but I would love to keep communicating outside of the app. Do you ever make it up to (her city)?

Wow! I really thought I would never hear from this girl again when I got the crickets. I know, I know, I shouldn't get excited about someone I don't know. I will openly admit that I am very lonely, and neurotic.

How the hell do I flirt with her for a week? And that's just while she is away. It will be at last another week before we have time to meet up I'm sure. Do I text every day? Every other day? Do I try to avoid boring factual questions like what does she do...what does she like...? Ugh. I mean, I could flirt with her for a few days no problem but two weeks? That is like impossible.

Any advice? Any advice from any women out there? She didn't say let's talk when I get back--she said let's continue communicating in the meantime. So...that's a lot of not-boring stuff I have to say.
