Yup, rookie mistake but had to vent somewhere.
I don't feel like getting into details but it's just so fucking frustrating, because after you do get that rejection you immediately think about every warning you've ever received saying: "Remember to not fall into the friendzone stupid"
You only properly understand what was going on after the fact, because when you're at it, your mind quickly gives you just a tiny bit of hope where there is none, only to bring you to a pitiful, humiliating ending.
One of the things that probably hurts more is your ego, for you've invested a gigantic amount of your time into a relationship that will never happen, and THAT'S OKAY SILLY, we've all been there, in love, business and life in general, not everything will go your way and you NEED to learn from those moments.
And if you still feel hurt, insecure in yourself, (like I do right now), anxious or whatever else. Know that, YOU are still the most important thing in your life, YOU control it's direction, and YOU are at the exact center of it, tomorrow you can wake up with a billion dollars on your bank account or you can wake up with a brain tumor, get a hold of your life while you can, treat yourself with the respect you show others and you'll have done more than most people ever will.
