I'm in the same boat. I'm black, I like white girls but I was never their first pick. I feel a black guy has to be the cream of the crop black guy to compete with average white guys.

For example I would say I'm an average looking black guy. I'm able to attract average looking black girls, but I'm unable to attract average looking white girls. The white girls whom I dated all of them are below average.

Do you live in the South, man? Interracial with white girls is definitely harder in this parts. But definitely doable. Sometimes location can be the issue sadly. But we all have to make do with what everyone .

If a girl is saying this to you, it’s probably your seduction and approach skills. Thankfully this is actionable and you can fix this.

I assume you’re doing direct approach and they are therefore rejecting you too early. Try indirect approach and maybe it’ll help.

Your friend has no problems because he himself is white.

From the way you’ve worded your type, it sounds like you like girls from ‘wealthier/more upper class’ families. You need to broaden your type or wait till you get a bit older. I’m sure you’ll start to see them be more reciprocative to your approaches as you age.

What is your high end career? Is it rapping/hip hop? A lot of people in the white community do not think that type of career is respectable, even if you have scored a record deal. You’d need to be Jay-Z, the Wu Tang Clan etc to be considered respectable and even then that has more to do with producing and distributing their own beats.

Also, Have you considered dating your own race? The feedback from the black girls is they struggle to find men because the guys are focusing on white girls, as are white men (who don’t usually go outside of white/Asia).

It makes so much sense to stat in the black community as nature intended. Your mother is black, your grandma, etc. conservative minded, you should understand the community bond of this l. I’m not saying you should tap up some loudmouth Queen latifah mouth breather, but why not a decent and educated black woman like the one in the interlude of the Drake ‘started from the bottom now we here’ clip.

To me this sounds so much like the right fit for you, and I doubt your white friend would have much luck with the sisters of the role was reversed.
