What happened to this place? Where are the field reports?

People seem to post them less now, but that's because the pattern here was getting boring and posting 'specifics' of field reports on this sub seemed to lead too a weird hindsight/confirmation bias.

If a poster writes an Field Report using direct game and gets laid, everyone congratulates the poster on their direct game and sings it's praises.

But if he fails to get laid, instead people now reply saying that one shouldn't go direct (and use that as the basis for his failure) and link you to the mystery method or something.

Similarly, if you decide to take their advice and approach some hot girl the next day and open INDIRECTLY and she rejects you and then post that Field Report, a different set of posters will be replying and telling you that you need to open direct lol.

And that's just the direct vs indirect example in FR's. It branches off into every nuance of game that you can think of!!

It's all nonsense. Everything works and nothing works. (every PUA coach disagrees massively on literally everything, yet both claim amazing results and that their way is the best)

Not to mention that seddit often say 'what you say doesn't matter' which kind of makes the whole idea of posting FR's kinda redundant!! haha

All that seems to matter is that you meet her personal level of 'hot' and that she's single and available

Reddit has become a lot more "mainstream" in the last few years since those snapshots were taken. This sub, like many others, has seen an influx of new users. A lot of the new users seem to be on the younger side. I see a lot more posts here now asking about 'how to ask out their crush' and things of that like. Stuff that belongs on r/askseddit. There has been a noticeable shift in the type of users who browse this sub, as with Reddit as a whole.

The "I'm such a loser/no one likes me" mentality that permeates Reddit has gotten to this sub as well. I see a lot more replies from people with a defeatist attitude who think they can never improve and are too "ugly/poor/old/whatever" to succeed. I have noticed those same type of replies on the Field Reports that are posted, claiming them to be "fake" or whatever, or they get little to no replies at all. Why take the time to post if no one is going to be receptive to it?

Just my anecdotal thoughts.
