Women spin plates instinctively. If a woman is in an LTR with a 6, or even has a 6 plate, she will put effort into maintaining the plate while pursing the 8. She will want to keep her options open. Especially if her relative SMV is low. Women can, in the short term, raise their SMV two points instantly by making sex available.

Short answer: probably

hypergamy is more prevalent than polygamy so she will focus her attention on "reaching" to get the 8... also ratings aren't yours to decide... number is decided in her head so when you say 6 or 8 it is meaningless.. to her these same guys could be a 7 vs 10 or a 5 vs 9 or whatever SHE thinks... usually the "apple of her eye" (aka main target) gets an extra point... not sure if it's just because oneitis (like guys have) or because females think so highly of themselves that the guy they're "after" must be of high value... it gets murky... but she's going to focus on the guy she sees as much higher SMV and the other guy isn't going to give any tingles
