I went on a date recently and when I asked the girl out a second time she said no thanks. It was clear to me what I'd done wrong right after the date. The date was very platonic, just a nice, friendly conversation that might have taken place between two friends.

I realize that this is something I've not assimilated - that you have to not act in a platonic, friendly way towards her.

Can you recommend some video resources that talk about this topic, doesn't necessarily have to be something long and comprehensive.

To be clear, I'm not talking about just nice guy behavior, which is typically understood as something broader - being a doormat, doing stuff for her etc etc. What I'm talking about is, I suppose, a subset of nice guy behavior, but it's a little more specific. It's that the way I relate to the girl I'm trying to bang or make my gf is no different than how I behave towards a female friend.
