How do you deal with friends that "throw you under the bus" when youre talking to a girl?

Worst thing that ever happened to me: my "friend" wanted to show off and shoved me into a campfire in front of a bunch of girls.

Looking back on it years later, I was probably a really insecure chode who projected the image, "kick me I'm an idiot".

Now that I know game I'm a different person. That kind of insecure, AMOG'ing situation doesn't seem to come up any more. If a guy ever shoved me like that again I would come up fighting and the guy would literally get his face kicked in and his hands and ankles stomped on and broken. Because that is true in my mind, the image is unconsciously projected. Nobody messes with another person who gives them the vibe, "don't mess with me or I'll fuck you up."

You don't have to project an aggressive or defensive vibe, it's a subtle signal. You communicate it by being so relaxed it says, "Not even worried anyone's gonna mess with me cause I'm.the alpha here."

My example is extreme but the same thing applies to casual, verbal abuse and AMOG'ing.

Choose better friends, simply abandon said current "friends", and learn to laugh at whatever passerby come up with, just in case.
