I'm talking about money exchange for interactions in the big picture. Where does one the draw the line as being a push-over and being an attractive masculine guy?
For example, I feel like if a guy asks a girl out for a date, then he should be covering the cost of the date. It's essentially an exchange of her time to show you are a suitable partner.
What are your thoughts on gifts or helping a girl out with money? Is it being a pushover? Obviously, in a relationship this shouldn't be an issue, unless it's in excess and you aren't receiving anything in return.
I feel the only way a man could be perceived as weak, is if he does not get anything in return for his investment.
I'm looking at this in the big picture. What are girls thinking in these situations? How does it differ on whether you're looking for a hook-up versus a long term relationship?
Obviously, a girl values a man who has his shit together and is financially stable. But, a man who gives in excess for nothing in return, would likely be seen as weak.
