Brooding to be stoic

I used to think the same shit as you, man. Turns out, stoic and brooding are not actually attractive. It's the 'don't give a fuck about you' attitude those actions carry that is attractive.

Women will be much more open to a funny guy that doesn't give a fuck than they would for the brooding guy that doesn't give a fuck.

If that's not you, it's not gonna work. I tried that brooding, not-smiling shit and it ended up making me weird. People were saying "What's wrong with you today?" "You look sad/angry." Come to find out the fact that I'm always smiling and rarely ever serious is one of the things women find attractive about me. Switching from being funny and happy to James Bond is probably going to be a little awkward. I think the only time a guy smiling is unattractive is if he smiles like a doofy ass retard.

Great question. The trick is to smile and laugh when there's actually something to smile and laugh about. Examples include:

-Smile genuinely when seeing someone for the first time that day (assuming you like them)

-Laugh loudly and confidently at a funny joke or funny story, especially your own.

A man who fluctuates quickly and purposefully between affects demonstrates power. It shows you are willing to express yourself and unafraid of what other people think. It shows you are fun to be around. It shows that you're not going to smile just generally so that people will like you. You smile when there is something genuine to smile about.

Another thing here is that powerful people are able to alter other people's moods easily. A friend and I coined this "emo-pinging", where you're basically able to engage others emotionally. You tell a story about something that made you angry and they get angry with you. Then you laugh at the end and they laugh with you. Then you get purposeful and down to business and they do too - they're ready to follow you. The true leader is the one that has the hearts (read emotions) and minds of his followers.

Stoic is such a staple for TRP because reforming blue pillers are way too quick to smile in order to be perceived as likable - a pitiful pitiful trait.

Stoicism also helps with being prevented from being butt-hurt about random shit. But yeah, mix it up.

This is going to sound hilarious, but you should ~be yourself.~ You are naturally inclined to smile and joke around, and that's good because women are universally attracted to guys who are funny, charismatic, charming, etc. Be serious when the need calls but don't force yourself to adopt a demeanor that is unnatural to you. You'll never be able to keep it up, and you'll look fucking crazy oscillating between joking around and "brooding." Having a flat affect is rarely a trait that can be learned (and why would anyone want this?) and is only going to seem appealing when attached to already handsome and/or impressive men.

Sometimes dudes will use smiling/laughing as a submissive behavior, a way to suck up to people or neutralize a perceived threat. Watch yourself if you find yourself doing that.

I like to be a nice guy because my heart is pure and kind, so I smile quickly with a thumbs up at any one needing one. But only if they engage me first. But with the ladies, I rarely smile. I only talk using eyes. Sometimes not even listening to what they have to say. When our eyes interlock, it's like I am standing a few millimeters from her in spirit though much far away in real life. It helps if you have facial hair.
