Bro it sounds like you blew it. If a girl asks you to stay the night, she is at least open to hooking up. You need to ask by escalating until she stops you, not making a formal inquiry. Your best bet is to pretend it didn't happen, take her out and show her a good time that naturally leads to sex or whatever you want out of it.

Most girls will never go through an unexpected hookup or one night stand if you try to rationalize it because they are worried about their reputations. They want to be swept off of their feet so it isn't their fault or anything shameful, they were just succumbing to a great time.
