1) Don't date co-workers.

2) Stop trying to get into her pants. There's a fine line between being on the hunt and orbiting and based on her rejecting your advances over the months, you sound like you're close to going over it. Obviously I can't make more of an assertion without knowing more, but that's my gut reaction.

3) Don't initiate. No need to hard ignore her, that's tactless. She's already apologised and attempted to qualify her reasons why (she explained herself to you). I have no idea if any of these reasons are valid but she's done what she's done. You work with this person, be courteous, keep it on topic and maintain your boundaries.

There's something to be said for punishing people for bad behaviour, but going overboard is often just as harmful and not correcting their behaviour. One of the key things TRP gives you is social tact. Use it to navigate the spinning minefield of social interaction.

Should I continue to ignore her and ignore her hard in person?

I would do that but also act like I'm not doing that. Kind of like she doesn't exist. It's the only way. Getting into her pants again is just going to cause problems for you.

You are orbiting her right now. Even while pretending to take distance, if we would leave you alone with your thoughts you would slingshot right back at her.

Tell her she is not the person you have taken her for, and that it might be best for you 2 to take some distance and keep things on a professional level. If this somehow gets you in her pants...great, but from now in it should not be in your list of goals anymore.

Thanks for your comments everyone. I wrote her back saying "Don't sweat it". She went on to say that I was super mysterious for that and after her response I didn't message her back.

You guys are right about distancing myself and not shitting where I eat.
