i have a housemate that has a limited vocabulary and will call literally anything either “crazy” “sexy” or “cute” or “sick” and i’m so tired of it but i guess that’s not worse than “fun” all the time. you’re not overthinking it. she probably just isn’t attentive to her diction and if she really wanted to convey a deeper sentiment she would.

I would move from text to an actual phone call or meeting up in person with her. Keep it loose and friendly, leave your part of the conversation a bit open so she can actually engage. "I just got back from the grocery store and the craziest thing just happened..." "Holy shit I just had the most awkward encounter with a homeless guy..." Leave your part of the conversation open so she can engage.

Or she may actually just be super boring in which case you should look for someone that gets you better.

If you are constantly talking to a girl about "our days without even asking", it's time to 1) start flirting instead of just friendly talking and 2) meet up in real life.

There's nothing else to do. Right now you are just friends being friendly. You need to move that to something more sexual/romantic by flirting and changing it from friends-friends to man-woman dynamic. Then you meet up and continue it in real life.

You may get rejected, or she may be interested in you. Only one way to find out.

You can ask open ended questions like “Which thing did you do specifically that was fun?” or “were you scared?” or ask environment - specific questions if she’s near water “did you find any shells or see any fish” if in nature/woods ask about animals or flowers. She’s clearly young and inexperienced and isn’t aware that she’s monotonous. You can draw her out more if you know what to say
