Don't be friends with a girl thinkin eventually lead to something

Everyone talks about this stupid friend zone. If you want to date her, she says no, then consider whether or not you really can just be friends. That means you accept there will never, under any terms, be more than just friends. If you can't do that, walk away. Tell her you can't just be friends, and walk.

When my wife and I first met, and I finally asked her out, she said no. And I said, "I can't just be friends." After like... I dunno... A short bit, maybe a few days, I got a text. She missed me. Long story short, she agreed to a date, to see how it would be

I'm not saying that will work for every girl. When you walk, you walk. I did morn her, but I wanted that girl and I didn't wanna hang on and watch her date sitting on the sidelines. That would be torture. I was crushed. And I acted like it was a breakup. It kinda was.

The friend zone exists because you create it. If you can't just be friends, don't be. If she wants you in her life, maybe she'll pull you back in and give you a chance, try it. Maybe she won't. But you don't have to torture yourself for years.

Best thing I coulda done was walk.
