I don't really know. But if my experience is anything to go by, we have a new reality TV show coming up that should be HIGHLY entertaining: Gay Divorce Court.

The absolute best thing that is going to come from this is its effect on child support and custody. Finally, the courts are going to have to start using objective (fair) means to determine them. They can no longer just give one side everything because she has a vagina. Either they both will, or neither of them will. 10 to 15 years down the line, the courts may extend this fairness to hetero couples.

The first lesbian or homosexual guy that adopted a kid with their former spouse and then during divorce proceedings gets treated like a straight guy would get treated in such a situation will go absolutely ape-shit, and insist that discrimination is the cause for the judge's ruling. Some will likely nod in agreement, and insist that no fair judge would do such things.

Five to ten years later, once it finally settles in among the glitterati that, no, straight guys have been getting this treatment for decades, and now they can expect it too, unless laws change, yeah, there will be a bit more respect given to people saying maybe we need to rethink these divorce laws a bit more.

Alimony is a welfare program paid by unwilling men. The government will never destroy alimony because it doesn't want to start paying out welfare to even more people than it has to.

I suppose the potential is for sexy pool boy types to hitch up with rich old Queens and take them to the cleaners in the divorce courts. that could have some potential for beneficial SJW legal changes that also benefit straight men

Divorce rates will go down, since gays seem to respect the commitment of marriage a lot more.
