I’d just tell her that. Just be honest. If you lie, and then become friends then she’ll figure out the lie. Ngl, you can only cushion rejection so much, but as a female I’d want a guy to say something like “I’m really flattered, but I’m not really interested in dating.” You could say that you “don’t quite feel the same attraction”. Don’t give false hope, or lead them on. Just be polite, she’ll get it and move on. Idk if you’ll be friends after but who knows. If you want that, say it, but if she doesn’t want that don’t push.

Tbh, unless she's just completely ugly or annoying, I'd give her a shot and she where it goes, just because women NEVER approach first and I respect the ones who do. If I'm not feeling it after a date, I'd be upfront and tell her I'd rather continue on just as friends.
