This is how it goes. Same thing just happened to me. The girl approached ME and gave me her number, unprovoked, then we had a funny short text convo followed by a date invite. "Ah! Yes I'd love to". Ghosted.

Now I just invite girls to join me in something I was already gonna do on my own. If they show, great, if not, I do what I was gonna do anyway.
