Every woman has a Dick Timer: the average amount of time she can go without dick. For some its a couple of weeks others its a bit over a month. They're likely addicted to the thrills of newness.

These types of people (men and women alike) tend to also be addicts to other forms of replacement consumerism. They're the ones who still use Foursquare or Untapped or whatever.

Have to have the newest purse, the newest video game, visit the newest foodie paradise, etc, etc.

They are incapable of bonding because their hormones are permanently fscked.

Some women are insecure or their entire identity is wrapped in being attached to a man. Others are branch swinging to a new opportunity that arose, from a relationship gone stale.

Not necessarily a bad thing, there are good and there are pathological ways for women to go about this.

I think of my own multiple plate spinning as reducing the cycle time between relationships to zero. (Yes, M/F mating strategy is different of course)

Depends, more detail is needed. Is she just having casual relationships? Or does she actually get serious.

If these casual relationships are well, casual, then she's just having fun. Some guys don't like it when women do that, but since I do it myself, I can't fault women for doing the same -- in between serious relationships I'll have a number of casual ones/bed buddies/friends with benefits, whatever. I personally think that's normal.

If she goes from serious relationship to serious relationship, then she may be one of those dependent people that can't be on her own. She gets into relationships as a crutch for something else. I would consider this a red flag, because that "something else" may not be something you want to have to deal with.

In my experience, most of the comments here point out the truth:

Dick timer. On average this is a natural behavior that cannot be changed. It just is.

Lack of hormone bonding or the unbalance of hormones that craves more bonding. This kind of chick may have daddy issues and seeks male sexual attention to feel calm (those hormones balancing).

Selfishness. A woman's interests is in her own desires. I was in love with a woman who left me for her last hookup in a weeks time and decided our 1.5 years of companionship and 6 months of living together was no longer worth it. To her. She found a new cock to give her attention.

Highlighting a difference: "jumps from relationship to relationship with very little time in-between" versus "jumps from relationship to relationship with very little time in each".

The first means she's a skilled branch-swinger, and she's never without a man. Not a bad thing, possibly a good thing. Doesn't mean she has short relationships--means she has something lined up when the previous one fails.

The second means she can't hold a man. Maybe there's very little time between (if she's a flirt) but if each one expires quickly, then there's something else wrong with her. Some of the other responses appear to think this one is what the OP meant.
