You must be from a more liberal part of India, then?

This is all due to the roots of the Caste, Arranged Marriage, along with a still very conservative culture that enforces specific gender roles, along with a few other factors.

You yourself grew up in that culture that teaches us that porn is bad and premarital sex is bad and all kinds of other traditional values yet I'm sure you don't follow them because of your biological programming to be attracted to women. So why would women be any different? Culture doesn't change our sexual urges. Gay men are still gay even if we tell them it's wrong.

There is no approach game in India, beyond being high value enough that they'll come to you. Pick up doesn't exist there.

You wanna sit and complain about half truths, that's upto you bro. More for me :)

I'm not from India, but I had been assuming a lot of what I said is correct. Believe me I've seen plenty of Indian guys all across the internet, mentioning how hard it is, how the whole Arranged Marriage thing is so toxic, how the culture itself lacks the openness to accept approaching (which is a "western thing" according to them.) It just sounds like a very tough situation because of a multitude of factors colliding at once.

As a general rule, you should take everything said by people complaining on the internet with a grain of salt. There are always factors standing in one's way. Complaints are seductive in the way they absolve us of the responsibility of our situation and getting ourselves out of it. If you believe there's nothing you can do then you're free to kick back and blame the world right?

Have you had any success yourself?

Depends on how you define success. Everyone has their own metrics and goals. However personally, I've done things and had experiences I never thought to be realistically possible just because I stopped complaining and started taking action. Objectively speaking it's just more fulfilling than complaining and getting nowhere because of your self indulgence 🤷🏻‍♂️

That's quite the low bar. Although low bars are good because they set you up for being blown away whereas high bars set you up for disappointment. For a starting point yes perhaps that's a good bar but trust me, the sky is the limit.

On the other hand, if you got several humiliating rejections or you got in trouble (one guy from India, in another thread here, claimed a woman called security because he "smiled and nodded"... ridiculous, but he said it happened) I would see it as a bad omen, at best, and probably cease to approach. I don't have the composure to handle that, man. Hell I can barely handle it when I get more than a dozen non-responses/ghosting from online sources.

Online is terrible (mentally and quality wise) unless you know how to handle it. If you're new, and too shy to do anything in person then perhaps it's a good gateway or entry point as long as it's only temporary and you don't use it as a crutch to hide from irl approaches. Because trust me, you're probably not gonna get dates with 10/10s and models online.

As for fear, it's bs. If you just use your words, and express your natural intentions, women aren't gonna be creeped out. At worst they'll tell you they're not interested. Liking women isn't outlawed. Harassing them is. A women isn't going to cry for help in a public place in broad daylight with witnesses just because some guy told her that he thinks she's attractive. Not knowing what someone wants is creepy. So if a guy is smiling and staring at you (rather than walking up to you and talking, which would be the expected behaviour in that case) it is uncomfortable. So just make your intentions clear. Being afraid of looking like a creep is a self fulfilling prophecy. Women follow your lead and that's a double edged sword. Be a man and have it work in your favour.

I've seen guys say they had 300 approaches to get one date/hangout, however you call it. And they'd tell me it went no further, even. That's kind of... disenfranchising. Hence, the whole reason I'd say "a couple of dates" is a success... although this presumes you didn't need massive journey to get there.

Well I don't know anything about that other guy, I can only take his word for it.

But I find his story hard to believe. I've often seen women out in public who are looking at me when passing by, and they would smile/nod first; or sometimes I would nod first, and it's all good as far as I can tell. I wouldn't say anything to them (unless they said hi, I would return the greeting) but I don't think that makes it creepy.

The next step would be to try and strike up a conversation, but I believe this would be embarrassing, so I just never take action. I have massive social anxiety and speaking the right way, can be difficult. I've had women look oddly at me before when just in basic conversation (not even an approach) because my words get cluttered...

You can take 30 approaches to be successful and you can also take 3000. It's all about how good you are at pinpointing your mistakes and addressing them ASAP. It isn't as linear as you're thinking. You get what you put in.

But I cannot be even half-normal, any longer. That ship has come and gone.

You need help. So either get it or remain where you are. Both are choices. Choose the path that you won't regret taking 5 or 10 years later.

In a sense, the "exit sign" looks more appealing than being around 5-10 years later. There's no way to right this ship in a way that could satisfy.

I cannot accept being a dateless virgin at this age but it is what happened; and also, it cannot change so long as I'm not some resourceful career man (which I cannot be), and along with that, many other reasons for no longer desiring the banality and absurdity of existence. I am a colossal disappointment to all, but most of all, myself.

But let's say, that's the real kicker--never having one chance at intimacy because of social factors. I can't even convince myself had I tried, anything would be different--low value genetics are what they are.

Can you explain where do you approach girls?

It's not some top secret genius trick that needs to be explained. I prefer high end grocery store chains that tend to attract my type of women.

How exactly do you demonstrate value?

I just walk up to them and approach. I've done it a hundred times now, I don't conciously try to do these things step by step. Just follow the basics. Even I haven't mastered them yet.

And how exactly do you escape friendzone?

I was a loner introvert in school and college so I don't really have any female friends to be friendzoned by. All my approaches are strangers.

Most importantly, how should I imporve success rate? (Judging solely from your comments, you must have a very high success rate. I might be mistaken tho.)

I can't answer such a personal question without knowing what stage you are at or what your background is.
