I'm talking about the "Immigrant Dads" skit:

This skit surprised me because it inverted mainstream, progressive stereotype about men being irresponsible and coddled. In the skit, the dads are being overly critical of their sons, mostly for acting outside of conservative masculine gender norms. But the sons sound like responsible and put-together people overall. Whereas they love their daughters even when the daughters are irresponsible and still dependent on them financially.
It just seemed like a neat inversion of a misandrist stereotype and I was surprised to see it on SNL of all places, who have leaned into crude, "progressive" stereotypes for a long time now.
