So me (45m) and STBX (40f) were informed the owners of the place we are renting (her parents no less) are being forced to sell the home due to my father-in-law losing his income and them needing to secure their retirement or something along those lines.

We (me and STBX) have 2 boys together (13 and almost 15) and by her request I've been asked to hold off on discussing our split with our kids and the in-laws her parents.

Now here's at least part of the issue: at this point I'm about 100% sure she's made plans on where to go, but she hasn't confirmed anything as yet, nor has she atrempted to make good on our agreement to discuss dividing assets (there aren't a lot), financial care of the kids (there's no court orders in place at this point) or how she plans on managing teenage boys who she won't even be home with in the evenings due to her work schedule and anxiety, etc) as I do the lion's share of the parenting.

I realized th marriage was going nowhere a few years ago and have been trying to at least keep things together, but she is making this entirely more difficult than it has to be.

Any thoughts on how to speed the discussions along without getting too deep into the mud or is this bound to get ridiculous?
