You don't ask permission you assume it's already granted.

If she protested determine if it's a shit test and react accordingly.

You don't ask your current STR/LTR out you just tell them your taking them out.

You sound like your negotiating with "would you like to..." or "how do you feel about...."

It's not her decision. It your decision to go out, she either protests and reject it or goes with it.

You are handing her all the power for free here.

Oh man, you're missing out on half the enjoyment of being in an LTR - messing with your girl.

You're not strangers, and you get A LOT of leeway in what you can get away with. Invite her out outrageously:

"Drop what you're doing and be dressed sexy by the door in 35 min. I want you."

or

"Someone's going on a scandalous date with me Sat. Could it be you."

or

"I'm washing my car. Come get soapy."

There is no religious injunction against questionmarks per-se, you have to understand why they're frowned upon - it's because USUALLY they are asking her permission for something as if from a lower position. If you aren't asking permission, being cocky/funny and putting a huge smile on her face, then you can questionmark all you want.
