Psychology at University level is ~80% female. It’s not that they don’t know what to do, they really just don’t care. It doesn’t concern them.

Psychology needs to pull its head out of is pompous ass and start using evidence instead of ideology.

Psychology now is all about activism, blaming power structures, privilege etc. Its not emperical data points. An example of this would be a male has an anger issue so its viewed through a pre designed framework of his anger is about dominance, hegemony, male superiority, sexism, male privilege racism etc. Its not viewing him in a blank slate and building a psychological profile.

Psychology is in the social "sciences" which tells us a lot about the mentality.

This is why the APA has admitted it needs to review guidelines in male psychology. Psychology has been infected and captured by feminist/trans/CRT ideological frameworks and needs to start acting like an intelligent field using critical thinking and discussions and debate, not a monologue.

For the record, I did listen to this podcast before I posted it. I think they thought about scratching the surface of male psychology, but decided not to stray from their theoretical orientation in the gynocentric comfort zone, the one that pays all their bills.

It’s a minor miracle that they’ve even heard of Roy Baumeister, but they clearly didn’t even read the subtitle of his book, Is There Anything Good About Men? If they had, they would know the main title was meant to be ironic.
