The University of Missouri in Columbia, Missouri has a women-only alumni mentorship program called rhe "Griffiths Leadership Society" which you can Google. Meanwhile there are no alumni mentorship programs that include male students and non-binary students.This is despite the fact that Mizzou's undergrad student body is 56% female and female students graduate at much higher rates than men and on average earn more right after graduating college.

Additionally, Mizzou has a women-only journalism workshop. This is despite the fact that there are far more women at the School of Journalism than men, especially men from underrepresented and disadvantaged minority groups such as African American, Latino, and Native American men. It is called the Reynolds Journalism Institute Women's workshop. This is a violation of Title IX and I am reporting it.

The amount of discrimination and exclusion of men is rampant and it gets even worse when you are from a working class background and a non-White man at a college whose student body leans overwhelmingly female, White, and middle class to wealthy. All these privieged White female students think they are so oppressed but they have the privilege of being a double majority and the largest group of people at Mizzou by being both female and White. Because of racial, class, and gender homophily they have an easier time finding friends, making friendship networks, gaining empathy, and self-confidence in seeing people whonlook like them and share their race, gender, and culture wherever they go meanwhile seeing a fellow Mestizo male is like finding a needle in a haystack.

The exclusion of men of color, White female centrism, discrimination against male students, casual racism and microaggressions at Mizzou and Columbia, Missouri is absurd.

There are so many women-only organizations, clubs, events, and many women-only scholarships here at Mizzou.

In one of my business class lectures a weak male professor advertised a women-only grant for a program called WINVENT in which you could only compete for the inventing grant if the team was lead by a person who identifies as a woman. Completely forgetting the soceioeconomic-based and huge race/ethnicity-based gaps in inventing. A privileged White female from a wealthy alumni family in a country and university where White women are by far the largest and most overrepresented group in higher education gets to compete for this scholarship but not me a working-class Mestizo Chicano male without any alumni parents and only 1 parent with a college degree? Wtf!

If there was a competition for the most misandrist and discriminatory city against men in the USA then Columbia, Missouri would be high up there on the list. I can't wait to graduate soon and to leave this misandrist city.

I may need some help from y'all in filing these Title IX reports to the Department of Education's Office for Civil Rights.
