I have a disabled special needs sister. Some pretty gnarly stuff it's called Goldenhaar Syndrome, she also has scoliosis So Ive always had a soft spot for people with legitimate mental health conditions. Not the liberal genz female type of mental illness.

Anyway growing up at school people didn't know I had a sister like that and tbh I was embarrassed about it. What I tried to do tho was always treat other people with special needs and disabilities with dignity and respect and lend them an ear to talk. I saw how other guys used to treat them, obviously you had your bullies but generally speaking most guys would just avoid them, stay out of their way or simply not know how to deal with them.

But it was the other girls at school who would really really grimace and verbally make noises even when special needs people would walk in their direction, they would run away and literally point and laugh at them.

I copped my fair share simply for my own features, big ears, goofy eyes, short, middle eastern growing up around 9/11. Guys would just leave you alone and not want to be friends with you and that's about it. Most of by bullies were always trying to do something to impress girls, but it was almost always girls who would make it apparent how much they hated you.

I get it man. It sucks. You see these "enlightened" feminist men, and all they can seem to do is just punch down--virtue signal to show everyone how "good" they are. That whole "progressive stack" falls apart when you realize that "cisgender" and "white male" are like cinderblocks. No identity modifications will ever let you leave the basement.

I am a straight, autistic nerd without ADHD who has overcome depression and whose OCD is under control. I have found myself under this kind of burden for a long time, and my situation is less extreme (not really right word, you get what I mean) than your own so I can believe that your experiences have likely sucked. A lot.

The whole left and right thing makes no sense, I hold a lot of views of both sides and it would put me in the centre, but that doesn’t align with my actual views on things, I am rarely in the centre of anything (unless I lack a good base of knowledge on the subject). So the whole political compass thing doesn’t work, which explains why you get hate from both sides, because ultimately they’re the same side with the same bullshit in varying forms.

The world just kinda sucks sometimes, and as little as it helps you have my genuine condolences. But if nothing else I’d like to offer some advice which my grandfather gave me which worked very well for me, and may hopefully help a little:

“If everything hurts and everyone sucks then everyone gets hurt somehow, which means there are always people who have been hurt like you, and in those people you can find an antidote”

There are very good people on this sub and in many other places who will hear you out and do what they can to be supportive, I mean we all need that sometimes. Keep on trekking brother, we’re here.

Doesn’t it just…suck having to hide who you are? From pretty much everyone?

Feeling completely alone in the world, everywhere you go? Even on the internet?

Not having ANYTHING in common with anybody?

I was in this shocked, dazed, state for so long yesterday. I was really worried that I’ll have to either be alone in this world and suffer or just…kill myself.

Anyway, I don’t mean to make this about me. I just want you to know that someone else feels your pain.

I'm sorry you went through that. First, as a hetero non-autistic boy, I did not have it as bad as you, no question. But I will say, despite that, as a young kid who was small, I was beat up by just as many girls as boys. That is more a function of size than you being autistic. Now the amount you went through was because of your autism, but the equal girls - boys thing, you only have to be small for that, not autistic.

First off, who cares about what anyone thinks. Second off, just hit a few in their mouths. If I would have done this, it would have saved me years of abuse. What's the worst that could happen? You get hit in the face. You'll find out it's not that bad.
