Slide 1- “no men ever feel threatened by women”- that’s untrue first of all. Secondly trans people just use the toilet that aligns with their gender identity- a lot of trans women do pass as cis women anyway.

Slide 2- “men in dresses are bigger and stronger than the women and we can’t tell which ones would be no threat”- firstly the vast majority of men aren’t threatening anyway just as the vast majority of women aren’t. And stop pretending women are weaklings- we can’t be strong and empowered whilst simultaneously being weak and helpless. And a woman could be a threat towards another woman… these people overlook that…

Slide 3- “women are not a threat to men, men are a threat to women- not all but some”… some women are threatening to men too yet she pretends these women don’t exist… there are also some women who are threatening to each other….

Slide 4- “the women aren’t claiming to be men”- trans women aren’t claiming to be men either… they’ve transitioned into a woman… a lot of these women have probably shared a bathroom with a trans women before and because she’s “cis-passing” they haven’t noticed. “Are those women being seedy and looking for something to masturbate to? Are those women physically able to overpower the men who should be ejecting to their presence”? Firstly, what a weird perception she has of men in the first place- that they’re always looking for something to masturbate to- and trans women are using the women’s toilets because they’ve transitioned into women. And yes, some women can overpower a man… there are men who get assaulted/raped by women- does she think a man being abused by a woman is no big deal by her logic?. “I’ve seen a woman use the gents facilities if there’s a long queue at the ladies”… so she’s exposing her own double standard there? She won’t let trans women into the women’s toilets, but thinks it’s OK for cis women to go into the men’s toilets? “Are you afraid of women- women aren’t committing 99% of rapes and 80% of violent crimes”- neither are most men… and there are female rapists and women who commit violent crimes. “Men aren’t the overwhelming victims of female offending”… really? With female criminals do they usually have female victims? I’m not sure on that, but if so surely that makes her “women are weak” argument totally crumble apart because surely when she’s saying that she must realise that that means a fellow woman could perpetrate a crime against her. “Women don’t have 160% the punch power of men”… yep this is definitely a woman who’d minimise female on male abuse. I don’t know why she’s jumping to worst case scenario anyway- most trans people, most men, and most women, will not hurt you. Being cautious is fine but apply that cautiousness consistently….

Slide 5- “98% perpetrated by men”- 1 in 4 women vs 1 in 18 men… I think it’s more than 1 in 18… consider that in a lot of places including the UK female on male rape isn’t recognised as rape, consider that men are less likely to realise when they’ve been raped/sexually assaulted or not, and consider that amongst those who do realize they’ve been sexually assaulted, many of them don’t report due to gender bias.

This fearmongering means a lot of cis women who are maybe of a bulkier bigger build or more masculine presenting, can get targeted, because these TERFs wrongly assume that they’re trans…. Even though they say “we can always tell”- I’m tempted to do a thought experiment where I put up a photo of 4 or 5 people- where 1 is cis and the others are all trans women who pass… see how many of these TERFs can guess the cis one.
