It does raise a tangential complaint I have. I like a good MRA video. I dislike the videos that are just rage at women.

Youtube's algorithm can't differentiate and serves me up way too many of the latter. I have to heavily use the "do not recommend creator" option to keep them at temporary bay.

Tbh it's easier to be MRA if you are single. If you get gf or get married or have a daughter. You are less willing to be MRA.

Women are not the enemy BUT when you are fighting for men's rights and you are whipping unfairness against men you are also whipping out privileges for women, you are in some way HURTING women, you are making women's life worse, rightfully I must say, but you are doing it.

This is why discrimination against men lingers so fucking much. Holy shit I can't believe how discrimination against men lingers. It's just undefeatable. It's easy to rebel against discrimination when the one privileges are whites, blacks, Mexicans or even worse frenchs, but it isn't that easy when the one who benefits from that discrimination are your mother, wife or daughter. How men and women interact and relate each other is what make discrimination against men so fucking hard to wipe out and why it lingers in a way race discrimination doesn't.

Haha I'm proud of you. I was just visiting this sub on random prepared it would invoke anger in me (towards men as most posts i see are basically just misogyny). Honestly some of the recent posts make sense tbh (discuss actual issues instead of talking about which rights to take away from women), but overall there's no reason to blame women and "toxic femininity" for every problem as there is no reason to blame men and "toxic masculinity" for every problem. It's all just a huge societal issue and some tiny people like to blame the people they can reach that yet seem most different from them - the opposite gender. Because that's easier to be mad at as it's closer and lets you feel more in control because you can blame a good amount of individuals instead of societal concepts, politicians and outdated beliefs. Don't let the comments on this bring you down but i doubt they will, you've probably been prepared. I'm glad you could make it out of this rabbithole, many never will or never have. I hope you thrive!
