In his evidence to the 2016 Victorian Royal Commission into domestic violence, Miller made it clear that the prescribed approach was wrong: “A sole focus on the gendered nature of family violence which labels men as the perpetrators and women as the victims and which identifies gender inequity as the principal ‘cause’ of family violence is problematic at a number of levels.” His advice was ignored by the Commission.

He sounds correct... but politically inconvenient.

Ellen Pence is one of the founders of the Duluth Model of domestic violence, based entirely on male wish for power & control. As far back as 1999, she was recanting. Like those we were criticising, we reduced our analysis to a psychological universal truism. We all engaged in ideological practices, and claimed them to be neutral observations. Although I relentlessly took every opportunity to point out to the men in groups that they were so motivated, and merely in denial, the fact that few men ever articulated a desire for power & control went unnoticed by myself and my co-workers. Eventually, we realised that we were finding what we had predetermined to find."

Quarter of a century onwards from Ellen Pence admitting that the Duluth Model is not only fatally flawed, but entirely useless, it retains an ideological stranglehold on perpetrator programmes. In the UK, there will be NO FUNDING unless the Duluth Model is followed.

We can't have an admission that males suffer from domestic violence diluting ALL the money going to women, can we...?

I had faced abuse from a woman before. I experienced the lack of support too. As women abuse men as often, as vice versa, I am sure there are many men who from experiencing know they are lying. Are they really that dumb to think they will shame us into compliance?

The Saturday Paper quotes Professor Slater saying that he was assured by a representative from the Victorian government that he shouldn’t be too concerned about his evidence being omitted. “We need to imagine this future society that we want to live in. And that vision is not about alcohol. It’s not about class.”

This is the key phrase, because it is absolutely about class, but the whole point of the modern feminist movement is to undercut class movements by dividing people on sex and gender, instead, because there is no solution to biological sex differences, and so they don't actually have to do anything other than performative actions.

This isn't about, “social, cultural and structural and systemic change,” it's about preserving the existing class structure and limiting social mobility to women, most of whom don't stay in the job market long enough to wind up in positions of power, and those that do are inextricably dependent on the class structure that got them there, and so will never challenge it.

Every woman I've dated, and my ex-wife were all manipulative, emotionally abusive, psychologically abusive, financially abusive and mental abusive. 2 were physically abusive. Women are the most abusive mammals on this planet, but money drives these things. Women create the abuser through their words, actions, deeds, and more. They turn good men into people they aren't and never were meant to be.

It’s a sad state of affairs that we are learning to not trust any research or studies on basically anything, because it seems it will always be warped by whoever has an agenda. I’ve seen it done by feminists. I’ve seen it done by redpillers. By doctors. By psychologists. It’s disgusting.
