You don’t have to be an interesting person 24/7. Believe me, people are boring in general.

In fact, if you try to be constantly interesting you could come across as trying too hard to please others. Yes, you can be interesting. But you’re not a creature behind a wall of glass in a zoo. You’re not there to entertain people.

Here’s an idea: after they find out that you are interesting, how about encourage them into showing you what’s interesting about them? Put them in the spotlight, it’s their turn.
