Hello brosefinos, I came to askTRP with a anecdote, and i would very much appreciate your input on my situation Ltr: in my first year of college I fell hard for this one chick, acute oneitis, and proceeded to orbit her(despite her having a boyfriend of 3+ years) for somewhat one year. It just so happened that I found TRP that same year, and after studying the core material I realised the situation I was in.

I was a pathetic guy, for real. Not even trying to paint a sympathetic image, I legit was a piece of shit: dad bod, weed and gaming addict(I am looking at you league and Dota), did not study, and did no pursue chicks. The only good part was that I never was too thirsty for pussy cause I'd get some of my sisters(same age as me) girlfriends once in a while. Still I was stagnated, I didn't actually do anything. I would procrastinate studying, which almost led to me flanking first year. I didn't take care of the body. I didn't pursue my hobbies. And most of all, I orbited this girl hard.

Anyways, I found TRP and started reading, nothing changed for awhile. Then I decided to de it and lift. I went from never doing a push-up in my life to being able to squat more than my own weight. I started studying hard, and while I am still working on it, my peers respect me as a knowledgeable guy and like to have me in study groups. I changed core values, specially those correlated with women and relationships, and that led me to have good times, and I eventually started a LTR with a somewhat redpilled chick, and our relationship has that captain first mate dynamic with works wonder.

I mean, I went thought all these changes in a period of two years, and the whole time I still was friends with my oneitis. I had feelings for her for the most part of the first year and a half of my transformation, but I never acted upon them cause she had a boyfriend. But she knew that I had strong feelings, and I got strung along for that one year and a half. I had regular breakfasts with her, we hanged out and talked a lot, and I must admit that I actually felt as if she was a genuine friend.

Come the second half of 2014, one and a half year down the red road, and I finally break free from her. It just happened, I realised she was boring and not that much of a friend. If I was not the one to go looking for her, she'd ignore me, so I just drifted apart. And it was during that period in which I started my LTR with a new girl, significantly hotter, and more interesting than my previous one it is.

So after I distanced myself a little from her, and word got around that I was in a relationship, I noticed that in the few instances in which I and previous oneitis interacted, she seemed to be annoyed, even passed off at me. Like, during lectures, I'd ask something to the professor, and I would occasionally catch her looking at me, with this weird face. If I looked back she'd give a really cold look, like disgusted(disgusted is too strong of a word, but I lack vocabulary) for a few seconds, and look away. In situations in which we hung out, because same group of friends, she'd always avoid me and somewhat make an effort not to interact with me.

I don't get it. I am clearly not into her anymore(it feels good escaping oneitis). As soon as I started treating her just like a friend she became hostile. Why does she treat me like that? I don't really care that much, but I theorized that she must feel repulsed, because in her mind I am still the guy who orbited her hard, who she knew was a weak man, that now is no more. It's like she sees who I am now and that bothers her, maybe a chick that once knew you in a hard/beta period, when you were blue pill, cannot accept it when you transition and change(for the best).

I dunno Bros, boggles my mind.
