A male idol is being investigated for sex crimes. Of course, people are very angry at the idol for this but are using it to justify misandry. There are many posts saying to never trust men and “men will always be men”. Many people are encouraging people to support Korean women and the 4B movement (which is misandrist). However we already know that Korean feminism is extremely misandrist and disgusting so I will not be supporting Korean feminists or defending them

Of course no conversation about the utterly FUCKED UP world of K-pop management will be had, will it? Not to take away any responsibility from this person if they are indeed guilty...but being a K-pop idol is basically a form of slavery. Your handlers CONTROL you.

I have a friend who is hugely into a popular k-pop boyband and the shit I've learned about how that industry is run makes Hollywood seem squeaky clean.

Like, these young men are contractually restricted from being seen with women in public - lest in interfere with their image and sully the sex appeal the labels cultivate with them.
