I've personally noticed that women in their 20's seem to gravitate or end up with less traditionally masculine types and are into more androgynous / "soft" or generally more "metro" types.

when I think of traditionally masculine I may think of a guy that is muscular, maybe has more of a deeper voice, confident body language, more direct etc. I think we all know who this type is without having to explain it.

as opposed to more adrogynous/feminine/soft men - this varies in range from men who are literally androgynous, to women who do not prioritize strength/fitness and are typically skinny/etc, have poorer body language/less direct, more radically liberal and also I would say are the "nerdy metrosexual" type - picture the intellectual guy who dresses well and wears fasionable glasses - I see women just melt for this type - but take his clothes off and he is 125 lbs soaking wet. I will also say that you can have a mix of both masculine and feminine - but typically that is more rare.

As a guy who is muscular, I've noticed women are less comfortable around me and generally are not friendly/etc. and typically end up being very friendly/approachable to other men that fit the above.

I'm not saying I'm frustrated- Im genuiley curious if others have noticed same thing and if more masculine/sporty men are "out of style" these days.
