Holy fuck ! There’s so much to unpack here on so many levels! Why she wasn’t sentenced to jail? Why she was fined ? Why she’s not registered as sex offender? Why she free to go? How this poor man is doing, after been sexually groped? Who is the judge? How the fuck the police didn’t press any serious charges?how the fuck this has been dismissed and punished as you would stole and apple from the supermarket?(and even if you steal at the supermarket you still get registered as minor crime). This is some real shit bias of law towards women and given always lenient punishment for same real shit crime! And the most disgusting part is that the article try to sneakily try to allude her alcohol issue to be part of all this shit? How ? What in the fuck am I reading?

It seems like it's somehow socially acceptable for older women to be creepy towards young men, when the opposite is getting less acceptable.

Like I've seen quite a lot of things about how a lot of women, celebrities and fans alike, acted very inappropriately towards Justin Beiber when he was young. I'm seeing something similar with Walker Scobell, there was someone who made a countdown timer to when he turns 18. Absolutely disgusting.

When newspapers use quotation marks like those in this title:

They are doing so to explicitly distance themselves from the claims being made. The quoted text is a direct reference to the woman's claim that this was caused by mistaken identity, and the quotes indicate that they aren't endorsing the claims, only reporting them.

You can interpret that title this way:

BUS GROPE WAS SO-CALLED MISTAKE

Woman, 59, who sexually assaulted a man on a bus, claims that the assault occurred following her mistaking the man as her boyfriend.
