I watched her video. Just now. Now, I'd like to try to take stock of this for accuracy's sake. Please note that from about 2016 to present I've been dealing with so much stuff that I legitimately was unable to track trends super accurately.

So. 2010. 2008 we had the housing crash. This was primarily due to subprime ARM loans.

Then stuff I couldn't pay attention to because legitimately overwhelmed.

At some point the transgender movement went mainstream and made the feminists absolutely lose their minds. They thought they were gaining an ally and sticking it to the man. What they got instead was a group that directly contradicted "gender is a social construct", and that arguably would, if mainstreamed enough, force equal treatment under the law, regardless of gender, because they basically broke the entire concept. Which... honestly... applause.

Now she's saying that, if I'm understanding this correctly:

Men will drop out of the economy because what's the point
Women flooding the workforce will drive down wages

The two points are self-contradictory, so I suppose it's a rate problem. Which one happens faster. I mean, if men drop out, that drives UP wages. Less head count.

What I see as a trend right now:

No one is having kids because affordability. I am not sure if this is a male decision, female decision, or both of the above. I want to say I feel like it started with males but has since been adopted as a cost of doing business. I am uncertain if welfare or child tax credit has changed substantially enough to make having kids a bad backup option, which, I remember 1992 to 2010, it was absolutely being treated as a cash cow then. It may have also occurred because you can't squeeze child support out of a stone. It's hard to tell because of point #2.
MRA's were totally shut down by the "incel" accusation. I mean they tried all sorts of vile shit but that one actually stuck somehow. So it's really impossible to tell what's going on with men right now. All we get is "shut up or else".
Seems like the ultra-super-big-deal right now is "how do we get a house". From what I'm seeing this is kind of like marrying entirely in a similar manner as to how royalty used to. Just for the income. And divorce is way down because you'd lose the house, and if kids are off the table you're not exactly going to make out like a bandit without any child support coming into it.

How does this fit with her predictions?

I mean, I'm not seeing the mass drop out thing happening so much anymore. The gig economy is more springing up because everyone's obsessed with getting a house.

I am seeing a mass drop off in birth rates.

I don't really think 2008 was directly due to anything more than greedy assholes that couldn't assess risk properly, and was contained to one industry.

Any ideas?
