Why don't you feel like you're a catch? I approach women with the mindset, "I'm a catch. It's about to be this woman's lucky day. She's going to greatly appreciate me introducing myself".

If she declines, my belief is, "Her loss. She's missing out".

These are my beliefs. You get to choose what you believe. And that's important because what you believe will happen ABSOLUTELY affects what actually does happen.

Only you can help yourself. They want you to approach. Be the guy that stands out by walking up. Easier said than done. Have something in your mind that you’ll say before so you don’t have to stall and think about it.

You actually want a little discomfort its called tension and keeps things from being boring and platonic. Notice how romance movies always focus on the awkward moments where a couple first meets, where there is some conflict, and its unknown how things will turn out.

or “I don’t what to say or a good opener”

Then come up with some default openers and run with them. What you say is just an excuse to have an interaction and your energy and who you are is far more important.

Fuck the excuses and do it anyways. You'll make her feel uncomfortable? Go up there anyways, if she looks uncomfortable then you can always just say "sorry for bothering you, have a good day/night". You don't know what to say? Even easier, lock yourself into the situation where you HAVE to say something because not saying something would be far more uncomfortable.

I've walked up to women many times without knowing what to say other than "hi". In the beginning did it make me feel anxious as fuck? Yes, but just like your mind will make up all sorts of shit to rationalize not approaching in the first place, it will also make up all sorts of shit to say on the spot to avoid the embarrassment of leaving the interaction in shame.

Is it gonna be good? Nah, but you taks your pride in grabbing your balls to go do it anyways, no regrets.

You can just as well make up excuses to do it as you can make up excuses to not do it. Same part of the brain doing the same shit, but it works for you rather than against you. You clearly have the capability to make up excuses, so at least that's not lacking.

Fuck it, just send it. Expect to fail if that lowers the bar for you, fuck with your mind, whatever, as long as it leads to you doing it.
