Feminism has distorted this because it’s no longer about equality but about restitution and retribution. Feminists don’t like to acknowledge male superiority in many aspects.

That certainly relates to gynocentrism, though that may not be the specific term you are looking for.

Men being seen as providers and protectors is a societal view, though the men in question may not agree with it. A man may not feel he should give up his seat to a physically more capable woman. Many of the men drafted to fight and die in Vietnam didn’t agree with that decision. These are gynocentric practices, not men’s individual preferences.

In psychology we'd probably call that "Gender Role Conflict". Even in Western countries, there are huge subsets of women who believe men are supposed to do traditional roles which include much of what you say. Many men do not agree with it. There's an expected role that isn't assumed - pretty much the definition of gender role conflict.

In some countries, this expectation is forced by society - both from men and women. Just as many countries subjugate women (Afghanistan), there are many countries that subjugate men (Ukraine, countries that require unequal draft and force men to go to war). These are gender role conflict examples.

I’m not sure it’s anything. Does anyone really believe every man is superior to every woman at any particular thing? If I’m at the gym I can pick out the strongest guy and be pretty sure he can lift more than any woman in the gym. But if I pick out the weakest guy there he’s probably rational enough to know some of the women are stronger than him. That’s just common sense.
