Ask an open ended question. Could be a rhetorical question as well but has to ignite a sense of curiosity.
The opening should definitely include something that she’s excited about. Got a shared interest? Ask something about that.
The question should definitely show that you have actually seen her profile and something in that profile resonated with you and that’s the reason why you’re sending a dm.
