Absolutely a good idea. You could be hitting 2 birds with 1 stone. While sitting with your cute friend, you can just ask an attractive woman to come and talk to you for a second. Your cute friend will signify that you are safe and you are attractive (because your cute friend hanging out with you). Bonus point if she is actually jealous that you are hitting on another girl while she’s there.

This is why I believe having a female friend as your wingman is better than having a male one. Her being there already got rid of that “is he safe to talk to?” question. Heck, I met and did a quickie with an 8 last Halloween just because I met her while accompanying my niece do trick and treat. She was a solid wingman for me. She knows what to say and when to say the right stuff.

Yes, like it or not society has castes everywhere you are in this world; people judge others based on their social value, financial value, physical attraction, and a lot of other things. People judge each other all the time without many of us may realize it. So yeah, you got upgraded when you hang out with cute looking ones. But it can also backfire if the gap is too wide (a 4 and a 10 for example), the 4 would look really ugly and the 10 will shine because she’s next to the 4. This is why we seen a lot of pics where hot chicks take pics with the mid or even ugly ones. Like people on online dating say “if you’re not sure which one she is among the cute ones, most of the time she’s the ugly one.”

Are women automatically more attracted to us when we’re around other good looking ones ?

Not "more attracted". A man with women company suggests that such men is "safer" than men who are "isolated", as well as interesting enough to have the companion of other women. And being approached by men with the companion of other women suggests that such man has the pre-approval of those women. It definitely helps to tell a little bit about what kind of person you are, because you can be pre-observed on how you behave in front of women, but it doesn't make other women "more attracted to you". I would say that it helps you be perceived as more interesting.

No. We’re not attracted to you. We see you as safer. It’s instant comfort because when other women trust you, we see you as trustworthy and not a threat/enemy.
