I have been skeptical of approaching women at a restaurant. But I finally gave it a try and worked wonders.

I approached a group of three women (35 years or so) at an upscale restaurant. I was not even eating there. I had just entered the restaurant to check it out and saw these three women in a fun mood. I walked upto them and asked-- "what are you celebrating?". They were very receptive and very engaged. I realized I need to kino escalate with my target.

I said -- introduction time. Asked for everyone's name. Shook hands. I shook hands with my target. I bent down so I could have eye contact with her and create proximity (I am unsure this was a great move). Said something like -- you look trouble. She asked me why. All this while, I did not let go of her hand and looked into her eyes. She moved in to make space for me. I said your hands are soft and caressed them a bit. I created a false time constraint-- need to meet my friend. But let's grab a drink at ABC bar (sheek bar near where we were) and exchanged numbers.

I am not sure I could have escalated more given she was in a group.
