I fear that my conversations in a bar/club setting sometimes dry out and get boring. I normally stick to basics like what do you do, where you are from/favourite places in town/any holidays or trips planned. I then try and make a conversation out of this and I gauge interest by if they ask questions in return. Sometimes the convo flows real easy (if she asks back and reciprocates) but often it gets stale and hits a brick wall.

What are your guys convo topics and are then any good resources you would recommend?
