That's simply a form of general disgust at male sexuality, applied to same-sex couples.

Basically "Women sex good and pure and beautiful. Men sex bestial, ugly and dirty.

Therefore, 2 women having the sex together equals twice more beautiful.

2 men having the sex together equals twice the ugliness and dirtiness."

I am not even joking, if you boil it down to its key components, that's what gayphobia mostly is.

And that's not just men doing it. Women are notoriously biphobic when it comes ti having sex with people who had sex with men. So either when it comes to a bisexual man or woman who had sex with a man before,they have a higher chance of being rejected for it by other bisexual women (or also lesbians in the case of bisexual women), like having had sex with a man is a taint on the body and soul.

Personally, as a straight man, I have never understood the obsession of straight men with lesbian women. You know these women aren't even sexually interested in your gender, so why bother paying attention to them? Lesbian sex isn't even hot, I'm not disgusted by it, but at the same time it doesn't trigger anything. It's like eating tasteless bread with nothing on it.

In truth, hetero men are not a fan of the lesbo stuff. If we were, we'd be all about Star Wars Acolyte.

And there would be really high number of comments from non hetero men worshipping Vi and Cait in Arcane, just as there are tons of non heteros who worship them daily.

The best part of Andor would have been the non hetero women's relationship.

We would be screaming for more of the non hetero female couple at the end credits of Star Wars 9.

And we're also not a fan because the non hetero themes tend to include anti hetero messaging, and man hate. Why would we be into that.

lesbians=masculine=worthy=wlw not seen as 'real' relationships=therefore porn for straight men=two women are a conquest for men=hot

Patriarchy cares about straight men so gay men are gross but lesbians are seen as sex toys, both are wrong. Both are misogyny.

That doesn't make it any better or worse though, gay men literally suffer the worst hate crimes and even murders that you can imagine. However the terminology is still sadly misogyny.
