RP take on patriarchy?

I hope you dont mean RP as redpill because thats not what this sub is. I'll answer the question anyways..

What I’ve learned is those people aren’t actually complaining about the patriarchy nor do they want actual equality.

The idea of a patriarchy was sort of a by-product of the meritocracy based society that we’ve stemmed from. In a meritocracy, the most competent of a people are selected and promoted.

It just so happens that the most competent of society, on average, are men. This correlates with the fact that men occupy the extremes of most spectrums of any given measure. In majority of studies, you’ll find men at the very pinnacle as you’ll find men at the absolute bottom. Whereas women generally occupy the middle portions.

Now, this rule doesn’t mean there aren’t exceptions. The idea of a patriarchy falls apart when you learn that the first computer programmers were women, the first computer engineer was a woman, the lead of the organization that lead NASA to the moon was a woman, that the ruler of the most powerful empire in the world (Great Britain) were often a woman. How would this be possible in a patriarchal society? Shouldn’t these positions be filled by men if that was the case?

The idea of a patriarchy is that men are elevated while women are oppressed to be controlled. This is largely false. People often refer to particular times in history when women were oppressed but they blatantly fail to realize that men were also oppressed during all of those times as well. In history, it wasn’t that women had less right than men, but neither of them had many rights AT ALL. It wasn’t some one-sided fiasco as the victimhood of feminism tend to wish that it was.

This is where I’ve come to realize that equality of opportunity is not what modern feminists want. They want equality of outcome. They want to minimize the results of a meritocracy in favor of a more determined outcome. In essence, they want more privilege to even the playing field.

The biological differences founded in psychology between men and women can be boiled down to this: Men tend to be more interested in things; Women tend to be more interested in people.

These two differences lead to a huge discrepancy. While it doesn’t mean a woman can’t do certain jobs that men do by any means. What it DOES mean is that there will be a far greater amount of men that would be more suited or more interested in a particular role or study than women are.

That is NOT across the board though. For pediatricians, 71% of them are women. That’s almost 3/4. Why is there no mention of equalizing this? Why are there only mentions of derailing the men from their roles in favor of women but no mention of derailing women from their roles in favor of men?

That why the idea of the patriarchy is bullshit
