I'm in a situation where I've been married 19 years and am the victim of severe domestic abuse and have been for the past 5 years. I've had about all I can take. I am trying to protect myself and my assets. My home is in my name as I had it before I met my wife. If I had my way, I would have her move out and I could set her up with an apartment or something. Divorce and moving out has not been brought up thus far. She wouldn't go for that. She's going to want to dig her heels in and try to take me to the cleaners. Any advice would be appreciated.
