I mean it depends from household to household. Some households men don't work dangerous jobs, so picking up some of the chores is expected.

Though women shouldn't be complaining about a lack of chores done in these situations either. Because the pressure for men to have a job in a relationship is exponentially higher than the woman.

Chance of marriage failure and depression increases dramatically when men lose their job. When women lose their job? Finances get harder to cover, which really sucks, but not as much as losing everything.

So men must work harder. Because they know their job, family, and life is dependent on working. Meanwhile women don't have nearly that amount of pressure put on them to work.

Women and men just both need to be more understanding of each other in relationships. In this specific case though, women are the ones who need to be more understanding of men.

I mean... its hard to complain, or express unhappiness when youre dead, so of course those who get to survive tend to speak out more.
