Hi, my STBXW and I have 5 weeks of rent left and 2 more payments left. My STBXW through a fit smashed some things, threw my stuff out the door, hit, slapped, punched me, and screamed at me.

STBXW threatened to take the children and not pay rent, Eventually rent was paid.

I paid all the other bills for the home. Divorce has always been a hot button issues for my STBXW. She was upset having to pay rent and wasnt paying half.

Bills are slightly more than what rent is and paying health insurance premiums. With my STBXW had a decrease in pay only had to pay 20% of bills from December to end of February. February made her whole paycheck $1,000 more than me, $400 more if I do OT.

Long story short I found out she hasn't been paying her bills. Now that we aren't communicating she went against the budget, guess when the D was invoked things went out the window.

So I have no idea what the X is paying or buying at the moment.

I dropped extra on some household bills in March and paid groceries but that doesn't count anymore. My phone broke so had to get a new one.

Nervous because rent is due soon. Has threaten to kick me out if I don't pay my fair share. I may be able to pay a little. Have to pay for the light bill, car insurance, cable bill, and child's school bill. I need my car so paying my car bill. Whatever is left over I'll put to rent hope my X can cover it. She has family that lives with us they haven't paid rent since they lived with us for almost 3 year's. So maybe my X will reach out to them for funds.

Am I in the wrong? I mean think it'll be a big fight again. Been dreading it for the last few days. Trying to plan get my oldest out stay overnight at a family members house to avoid the altercation. Feel my X will try to contact the police to remove me. They can't do anything.

Only concern with LE called is my X could fabricate a story causing me to be arrested or removed from the property. Things are up in the air at the time being.
