This is why women think dating is “fun” while dating leaves most men feeling extremely jaded and soulless. Women get to be pampered endlessly, because they don’t want an equal — they want a worshipper.

Men are left feeling exhausted, broken, and questioning why women don’t seem to want to put in any effort for them in return. There’s a reason the happiest people generally pair off early and date very little in life. The longer you date, the longer you’re exposed to women’s bullshit.

I see this a lot. Spoil the lady. Treat her well. Listen, validate, be better. I really struggle with this. Like, I want to but also feel it should be reciprocal? Then I feel guilty because it feels like I'm making the relationship too transcational. We should treat each other with love.

I do remember an ex making me beautiful art based on my favourite book. One of the greatest gifts, no prompt. I don't need expensive crap. Homemade moments matter way more (to me personally, anyway).

That's why a lot of them say they love romance. Why wouldn't you love being spoiled without putting any effort.
